Professional Labor and Postpartum
Doula Care
Serving the entire Vail Valley and surrounding areas
As a labor doula, I will be with you throughout your entire labor and delivery, providing emotional and physical support to both you and your birthing partner. We will have a few pre-natal visits in your home, where I will learn about you and your birthing desires. I will help you formulate a birthing plan and do my best to help you to see that happen. I will see you for a few postpartum visits to ensure that you are resting, healing and tending well to your newborn.
As a postpartum doula, I strive to provide non-judgmental, non-intrusive support to the new mother and family, according to their needs and wishes. My objective is to nurture the new mother and help to alleviate the stresses associated with the early weeks of motherhood, thus providing a more joyful and enriching postpartum experience. Services may include breastfeeding support, infant care, nutritional meal preparation, sibling care, household help, partner support, running errands and other tasks that may be requested. We meet to prepare in the later stages of pregnancy, and together we can decide what might work best for the entire family! It is my honor to be of service to you.
Rates: Prices quoted upon request
Typical Postpartum Doula Support is 2-6 hours per day
(Singles 1-4 weeks; Multiples 1-3 months)

Just having the extra set of hands around the house, to help with everything from baby to laundry to dishes. She was fantastic, very encouraging and supportive during this first time experience.
— Jen and Steve, Avon, CO
Marcy was wonderful with helping Tyler to latch properly, scheduling and with nipple care. She was very encouraging and calming for me.
— Linda and Rhome, Edwards, CO
Marcy was so helpful and knowledgeable about breastfeeding.
It was wonderful to have her support around the issues I had with thrush/candida, to help with meal prep
and errands, and to spend time with
Ethan and me. — Carmela, Oceanside, CA
In the end it's not how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.
